What makes it 67% Baby-Friendly: Babies can ride strollers on paved loops and rest in shaded picnic areas or the warming hut, but restrooms lack listed changing tables and the park offers no stroller rental or nursing rooms.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a stroller loop, playground break, picnic and reservoir views without rushing a baby.
Stroller-friendly paved loop:
Wide asphalt path around the reservoir.
Tip: Use the morning hours for cooler temperatures and smooth walking with a stroller.
Playground visit:
Nearby wood-chip play area with swings and slides.
Tip: Sit on adjacent benches while baby explores; bring a sun hat and water.
Shady picnic by playground:
Picnic tables under trees near the play area.
Tip: Pack a portable high chair or blanket and baby-safe snacks.
Reservoir overlook:
Benches along the water’s edge.
Tip: Feed ducks or nurse baby on the benches while enjoying open views.
Warming hut (winter):
Small heated shelter by sled hill.
Tip: Warm up with baby between sled runs; bring a blanket inside.

Beautiful area but easier walking down than going up.

Huge hill great for sledding. I was here in March so there was no snow but I can tell this would be a legendary hill for sledding. Great memories in the making. The view over the reservoir is pretty impressive as well.

I would host absolutely any event possible at the warming house here. It is beautiful, convenient, spacious & a perfect location. It can be opened completely or enclosed. Working fireplace, clean & large bathrooms.

Walking the elevated pathway provides an amazing view of the surrounding area and seeing the enormity of the project is hard to believe when you are walking or running it. The lodge and the main parking lot are on two separate roads and are not attached by a sidewalk which is a bit odd... didn't get to see the inside of the building yet

I was here for a Soccer game. Decent field but no bathroom or port a potty. I saw people peeing in the brush. Also, no garbage. I am a firm believer that noone should litter and was disappointed that there wasn't a trash can.
In summer, seek shaded benches near the playground after your stroll. In winter, plan brief sledding stops and warm breaks in the hut.
