Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Couples can enjoy a picnic, stroll the 0.6-mile loop, and try fishing in a half-day visit.

Beautiful area but easier walking down than going up.

Huge hill great for sledding. I was here in March so there was no snow but I can tell this would be a legendary hill for sledding. Great memories in the making. The view over the reservoir is pretty impressive as well.

I would host absolutely any event possible at the warming house here. It is beautiful, convenient, spacious & a perfect location. It can be opened completely or enclosed. Working fireplace, clean & large bathrooms.

Walking the elevated pathway provides an amazing view of the surrounding area and seeing the enormity of the project is hard to believe when you are walking or running it. The lodge and the main parking lot are on two separate roads and are not attached by a sidewalk which is a bit odd... didn't get to see the inside of the building yet

I was here for a Soccer game. Decent field but no bathroom or port a potty. I saw people peeing in the brush. Also, no garbage. I am a firm believer that noone should litter and was disappointed that there wasn't a trash can.
Summer mornings offer calm waters for fishing and clear trail views. In fall, watch red and gold foliage around the reservoir. Winter brings natural ice skating and sledding—carry your own skates and sled. Spring can be muddy; wear waterproof shoes.
