Lone visitors can hike village footpaths, join guided walks or rent an e-bike, and the calm, uncrowded vibe feels safe even without companions.
Why 2-3 days visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Allows time to explore villages, walk trails, and enjoy sea activities at a relaxed pace.
Self-guided village exploration:
Walk through Potamos, Agrilia, and Manolas to see cave houses and chapels.
Tip: Start early to avoid midday heat and follow narrow alleys for photo spots.
Swim or snorkel at Korfos Bay:
Enjoy clear waters and smooth pebbles on this quiet beach.
Tip: Bring your own gear for best visibility and pack water shoes for rocky entry.
Visit Agia Irini Church:
Climb to the 19th-century chapel for sweeping caldera and sea views.
Tip: Combine with a village walk and bring a sunhat for the exposed hillside.
Guided walking tour with lunch:
Join a small-group hike through Agrilia and Manolas with local stories.
Tip: Book in advance online and confirm meeting point at Riva Port.
Summer brings busy ferries and hot days, so carry water and sunscreen. In spring and autumn, expect mild temperatures and fewer crowds but check ferry schedules. In winter, many cafes close and boat services run less frequently.

Traditional Greek town, beautiful sunset views over to Mykonos. Much quieter and less of a tourist trap. Authentic Greece experience, friendly and knowledgeable locals who are more than welcoming. Not as many restaurants but lovely fresh food nevertheless. Recommend a visit.
