Babies are allowed, but many stairs, pebbly shores and no changing rooms make movement hard; only short stroller stretches and basic cafés offer brief relief.
Note: Therasia is 40% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Santorini for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for the ferry, a Manolas stroll, a short swim at Korfos Bay and a café break without rushing.
Ferry to Therasia:
Take the public ferry from Ammoudi Port (Oia) to Riva Port on Therasia.
Tip: Board early to secure seats; keep the folded stroller close by.
Stroll in Manolas:
Walk along the main paved lane of Manolas village.
Tip: Use a lightweight stroller or baby carrier; avoid narrow side alleys.
Swim at Korfos Bay:
Wade in shallow pebbly water at Korfos Bay.
Tip: Bring water shoes for baby; hold them securely at the shore.
Café break in Manolas:
Enjoy snacks and soft drinks at a family-friendly café.
Tip: Ask for a high chair and shaded outdoor seating.
Visit in late spring or early autumn to avoid peak heat. Cafés and lanes are more shaded and less crowded for a baby.

Traditional Greek town, beautiful sunset views over to Mykonos. Much quieter and less of a tourist trap. Authentic Greece experience, friendly and knowledgeable locals who are more than welcoming. Not as many restaurants but lovely fresh food nevertheless. Recommend a visit.
