What makes it 62% Kids-Friendly: Older kids enjoy boat trips, pebble beach swims, and volcano views, yet the steep stairs, lack of playgrounds, and scarce shade or toilets make full-day visits challenging for under-12s.
Why 1-2 days visit duration is ideal for with kids: A full day lets kids enjoy the volcano cruise and beach, with time to explore villages without rushing.
Volcano–Hot Springs–Therasia Cruise:
Board from Ammoudi Port for a 5–6 h trip: hike Nea Kameni, swim in hot springs, then land on Therasia.
Tip: Book morning departures to avoid afternoon heat; pack swimsuits and towels.
Swim at Korfos Bay:
Enjoy clear, shallow water and smooth pebbles at this quiet bay.
Tip: Bring water shoes and a snorkel set for kids; shade is limited after midday.
Stroll Manolas Village:
Walk paved lanes past whitewashed houses and small chapels.
Tip: Stop at a café for iced drinks; stick to main paths for easy footing.

Traditional Greek town, beautiful sunset views over to Mykonos. Much quieter and less of a tourist trap. Authentic Greece experience, friendly and knowledgeable locals who are more than welcoming. Not as many restaurants but lovely fresh food nevertheless. Recommend a visit.
Visit May–June or September for milder temperatures and quieter villages. In July–August, go early morning or late afternoon to skip peak sun.
