What makes it 47% Baby-Friendly: Parents with a baby can reach a stroller-usable viewpoint 200 m from parking, but most trails are bumpy, there are no diaper tables, and toilets close outside May–Oct.
Note: Parc Armand-Grenier is 47% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Quebec City for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Short distance and limited stroller access suit a brief outing with a baby.
Stroll to Viewing Platform:
Follow the 200 m paved trail from the parking lot to the river overlook platform.
Tip: Use a sturdy stroller or baby carrier; skip if the path is slippery after rain.
Waterfall Viewing:
Enjoy a clear view of the Beauport waterfall from the platform without hiking the full trail.
Tip: Visit mid-morning when sunlight highlights the falls for best photos.
Sculpture Photo Op:
Pose with the illuminated “La vie est belle, Monsieur Drouillard !” sculpture at the park entrance.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes after sunset; wrap your baby warmly for cooler evenings.
Picnic by the River:
Use the picnic tables near the restrooms to snack while watching the river.
Tip: Bring a portable changing pad and pack easy-to-eat foods for quick breaks.

Nice riverside trails to hike or ride in the woods that open up to public park places. Nice nature refuge close to the coty

Amazing scenery. Can walk up to the falls and relax. Many little corners to discover in this trail.

Must visit place in Québec, hills, roads, rivers, water falls, plants... Great for bikes, scooter, walking and swimming
Colette de Lottinville
A little treasure just off highway 40 going east! It's hiding, but discovering it was amazing. It is absolutely beautiful. Lovely, well maintained trail follows the river. Scenery never ceases to amaze. Strategic view points take your breath away! So, I was definitely impressed with mother nature, quiet, peaceful, a must to explore!
Visit between May and October when restrooms are open. In spring trails can be muddy. In winter, expect snow and closed facilities. Arrive at dusk for the lighted sculpture.
