What makes it 61% Baby-Friendly: A smooth path to the shelter suits prams and there is shade, but stairs block beach access and toilets may lack a change table, so carry a mat and limit stay if you need facilities.
Why 23 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a sheltered picnic, a gentle pram-friendly walk and short wildlife spotting without tiring the baby.
Shaded picnic at the lookout shelter:
Use the timber benches and tables under the shelter for feeding and tummy time on a blanket.
Tip: Bring a portable change mat and sun hat for the baby. Pack insect repellent and extra water.
Short pram-friendly boardwalk stroll:
Follow the wide, smooth coastal pathway from Wilkinson Park to Point Arkwright lookout.
Tip: Use a sturdy stroller, carry sunscreen and a small snack. Avoid the beach stairs—they are not pram-friendly.
Wildlife spotting:
Look for migrating whales and turtles from the lookout, especially May11November.
Tip: Bring compact binoculars and a camera. Go early morning or late afternoon for the best light and calm sea.
Relax under Norfolk Pines:
Spread a soft blanket in the grassy area beneath the pine trees for shade and fresh ocean air.
Tip: Lay down a padded mat for baby play. Keep shade cloth handy in case the sun shifts.

This view point is amazing!!! I was lucky enough to see a mother and calf whale, don't believe all the reviews around this area I spoke to someone who lived near by and if you want too see turtles head north about 5-10 minutes by foot and there are loads and can snorkel with them!!! Would still recommend this one as it stays quiet and there are a few picnic benches
May to November brings whale and turtle sightings. In summer, bring extra sun protection and plan around the hottest hours.
