What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Prams roll easily and seats suit feeding, plus toilets are nearby, but there is no purpose-built change table, limited shade and sea wind may discomfort babies if you linger too long.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: A gentle stroll with rest stops, beach play and feeding breaks fits into a morning or afternoon outing for families with a baby.
Stroller-friendly boardwalk stroll:
Push a stroller on the level timber path from Breezeway Street to the beach end.
Tip: Start at Breezeway Street and walk slowly, using benches to rest or feed your baby.
Beach play & shaded picnic:
Set up a shade tent on the gentle sloping sand for baby play near the surf club reserve.
Tip: Use the nearby picnic tables and water bubblers for snack breaks and bottle fills.
Milestone photo session:
Use the forest-to-beach backdrop for baby milestone photos on the boardwalk.
Tip: Bring a blanket or prop and capture shots near the viewing platforms at sunset for soft light.
Baby changing & feeding breaks:
Use public toilets and surf club change rooms at Marcoola Beach for nappy changes.
Tip: Ask cafés like Curly’s on the Boardwalk for a highchair or private corner if needed.

I frequently walk down here from Mt Coolum beach access 94. It's a magnificent view of Mt Coolum and the ocean. Easy walk along the boardwalk.

A short 15 minute boardwalk, but some great views of Mount Coolum and the surrounding landscape. Great to take dogs on leash, with the walk being quite flat and suitable for push chairs too.

15 min board walk and you are on the beach. Some nice walking and cycling tracks too. Good view of the mount and nice open beach. Make sure to take cover and sun protection as usual. Better and less crowded beach compared to other super crowded beaches in Sunshine coast.

Must do if you visit Noosa and surrounds!!!Beautiful walk to the beach and fantastic view of Mount Coolum.

Board walk makes beach access available to wheelchairs. Ends in a viewing platform overlooking the beach. Gentle sloping beach, patrolled at times. The elevated board walk through the forest is worth it even without the beach!
The boardwalk has little shade. Visit early or late to avoid heat. Always use sunhat, sunscreen and bring extra water for your baby.
