What makes it 79% Couple-Friendly: Couples get romantic sunrise or sunset ocean views, picnic benches and quiet photo spots, but the walk is short at 500 m so time together is brief unless you add the nearby beach or cafés.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Enough time for a leisurely stroll, picnic, photos and wildlife spotting without rushing.
Sunrise/Sunset Boardwalk Stroll:
Walk the 500 m timber boardwalk to Point Perry or back to Breezeway Street for sweeping ocean and Mt Coolum views.
Tip: Wear flat shoes; the path is lit after dusk for safe evening visits.
Point Perry Picnic:
Set up at the small beach shelter overlooking ocean and cliffs for a private meal.
Tip: Pre-order sandwiches from Coolum Village cafés and bring a blanket.
Couples Photo Session:
Use the forest-to-beach backdrop for engagement or anniversary photos.
Tip: For professional shots, book a 3-hour tour with Kezign Photography in advance.
Wildlife & Whale Spotting:
Scan the waves from the elevated boardwalk for dolphins, turtles, and migrating whales (June–October).
Tip: Bring binoculars and a camera with zoom lens.

I frequently walk down here from Mt Coolum beach access 94. It's a magnificent view of Mt Coolum and the ocean. Easy walk along the boardwalk.

A short 15 minute boardwalk, but some great views of Mount Coolum and the surrounding landscape. Great to take dogs on leash, with the walk being quite flat and suitable for push chairs too.

15 min board walk and you are on the beach. Some nice walking and cycling tracks too. Good view of the mount and nice open beach. Make sure to take cover and sun protection as usual. Better and less crowded beach compared to other super crowded beaches in Sunshine coast.

Must do if you visit Noosa and surrounds!!!Beautiful walk to the beach and fantastic view of Mount Coolum.

Board walk makes beach access available to wheelchairs. Ends in a viewing platform overlooking the beach. Gentle sloping beach, patrolled at times. The elevated board walk through the forest is worth it even without the beach!
Visit June–October for whale migration. Spring brings wildflowers under the boardwalk. Avoid peak heat midday in summer; go early morning or late afternoon.
