Check for high tide when you go here. Unless it's high tide you won't see the blowhole steam. It's a nice stop at the lookout. You can also hike down to the spot if you want. There is limited parking but there was a police guiding us.

Beautiful little beach accessible from a trail on the side of the lookout. The rock walls surrounding the beach are very unique with almost Mars-like attributes. One of my favorite beaches on the island. Saw a sea turtle (:

We happened to be on Oahu during a very windy 4 days, and we ventured out to see the Diamond Head side of the island and to see the blowhole. It was AMAZING to see big waves, beautiful blue colors, and the water go through the blowhole and up maybe 100 feet!!! We also saw a couple of foolish people venture close to the opening. The water came out with the force of a fire hose!!!

Beautiful photo spot. Highly recommend. Worth a stop and a detour. To the right there is a little path that leads down to a small beach area with a cave. Highly recommend checking out both areas. Wear good shoes, watch your step if following path down to cave area.

Also there is a big area where pe...
