I went there in June. The architectures on both sides of the river was marvellous. The bridges that the boat crossed was wonderful. The shard, Tower bridge and the big bang were all in sight during the trip. The explanation of the history of the area of river Thames was great too
In summer, time your walk for golden hour to catch warm light on the bridges. In winter, visit the Southbank Christmas Market for mulled wine and festive stalls.
