What makes it 52% Baby-Friendly: Every floor has baby-changing tables, bottle warming and buggy parking, yet there is no crèche and most events are noisy, so a visit is practical but not especially rewarding for infants.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This gives time for baby care breaks, a café stop and a short event without over-tiring your child.
Use baby-changing rooms:
Locate the dedicated baby-change areas on each floor of the EICC.
Tip: Bring your changing mat and supplies; ask staff to point out the nearest room.
Warm bottles and food:
Request staff to heat formula, breastmilk or baby food.
Tip: Ask for warming in advance to avoid delays when feeding time arrives.
Park your buggy safely:
Leave your stroller with reception staff for secure storage.
Tip: Label your buggy and keep the return ticket handy for smooth collection.
Relax in the atrium:
Sit in the spacious foyer near art installations.
Tip: Plan calm breaks here between sessions; benches have space for your baby and buggy.
Grab a snack in the café:
Enjoy hot drinks, pastries and light finger foods in the atrium café.
Tip: Choose shareable snacks for your baby; take-away cups keep drinks warm on the go.

Came here to watch a rugby match on the big screen. There aren’t nearly enough places to sit in the area, which was large enough for at least a few more seats. Because we couldn’t get seats we also couldn’t order any food and so we just ended up leaving. The food menu has an impressive number of vegetarian options which I was not expecting. That’s my only positive right now from my brief visit.

Definitely a great event venue. Spacious and beautiful! Watched a show “LOLA” there! But felt that the chair was alittle too small. Not exactly very comfortable, but the show was great that it distracted us from the uncomfortable chair. Plenty of toilets.

Attended a 2 day event this weekend and great room and stage. Sound is fab & staff were very polite. I'm very hopeful that next year the food provisions will be significantly increased to process 1800 of us in sufficient time! Thank you team!
During the August Fringe, look for baby-friendly daytime shows and quieter slots. Check event listings and book tickets early.
