Babies are allowed but uneven steps break stroller flow and no nursing or diaper rooms exist, so parents must lift gear and change on benches, making the visit short and inconvenient.
Note: Yongduam Rock is 41% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Jeju for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to explore the viewing deck, take photos, and enjoy snacks at a relaxed pace.
Coastal Viewing Deck Walk:
Follow the paved path 100 meters west to the main platform for a full view of the dragon head shape.
Tip: Carry your baby in a front carrier; watch for narrow, uneven sections near the rocks.
Dragon Head Photo Spot:
Stand in the marked zone for clear silhouette shots of the rock against the sea.
Tip: Visit early or late afternoon to avoid direct sun on your baby and softer light on the rock.
Snack at Local Stalls:
Try fish cake skewers and sweet rice cakes from nearby vendors by the entrance.
Tip: Bring hand wipes and small bibs to manage sticky hands around your baby.
Tourist Information Center:
Ask staff for maps, stroller tips, and the location of restrooms and fountains.
Tip: Stop here first to confirm any baby-friendly updates before you start walking.

It's alright a place to visit if you happen to be close by. I would recommend stopping by a cafe after to enjoy the view or plan a meal around the area rather than specifically travelling here to do sightseeing.

Nothing special at all lol I don't know why it's such a big tourist attraction here. The shore is an okay walk to pass time but I would not go out of the way to come here.

16 December 2024 at 5.30pm Take time to make out the jagged and layered rock similarity with a lion’s head. It’s also a picturesque spot to catch the sunset and watch the planes making the final approach. Maybe even snap one in the background!
