Couples get a romantic sunset backdrop, sea-view cafés within 3 minutes, and night lighting for photos; limited length of trail and crowds at dusk slightly reduce exclusivity.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Enough time to stroll the coast, catch sunset, enjoy snacks and coffee
Sunset Viewing at Yongduam:
Watch the dragon-head silhouette as the sun dips below the horizon.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes before sunset to secure a front-row spot on the west platform.
Coastal Photo Stroll:
Walk east along the paved seaside path for candid couple shots.
Tip: Use a wide-angle lens and frame shots with the ocean and volcanic rocks.
Coffee Date at Seoyeonjeongsa Cafe:
Sip Jeju-roasted coffee with panoramic sea views.
Tip: Reserve a window table online around 4–6 PM to avoid waits.
Snack Break at Local Stalls:
Try fish cake skewers and sweet rice cakes by the entrance.
Tip: Buy early to skip the evening queue.
Private Hanbok Photo Session:
Dress in traditional hanbok for a one-hour shoot by the rock.
Tip: Book at least two days in advance to lock in your time slot.

It’s a rock formation. If you’re nearby it’s lovely walk& close to a cute park so it’s definitely worth checking out!

It's alright a place to visit if you happen to be close by. I would recommend stopping by a cafe after to enjoy the view or plan a meal around the area rather than specifically travelling here to do sightseeing.

Nothing special at all lol I don't know why it's such a big tourist attraction here. The shore is an okay walk to pass time but I would not go out of the way to come here.

16 December 2024 at 5.30pm Take time to make out the jagged and layered rock similarity with a lion’s head. It’s also a picturesque spot to catch the sunset and watch the planes making the final approach. Maybe even snap one in the background!
