What makes it 36% Baby-Friendly: Babies are not barred, but parents must carry them because 108 steps lack ramps; no nursing room, stroller rental, or changing tables makes anything beyond the entrance plaza tiring.

Positives:

  • Easy Breaks: Benches near snack stalls let you rest and feed your baby between sightseeing.
  • Ocean Sound Soothing: Gentle sea waves at the lower platform can help soothe a fussy baby.
  • Quiet Mornings: Arriving before 9 AM lets you avoid crowds and have more space for stroller or baby carrier.

Challenges:

  • 108 Stone Steps: The main hall sits down a steep staircase with uneven stones, so strollers cannot go down.
  • Limited Baby Facilities: Restrooms lack changing tables and there is no nursing room on site.
  • Paid Parking Only: Payment is by card only and fees can add up for longer stays.

Visited the temple on a weekday, there was fair amount of crowd but still peaceful to get good shots of the temple. It’s beautiful and calm and has the ocean front . I love the colorful lanterns placed here as it was buddhas birthday a week before we reached here. Do go early mornings or during sunsets

This temple is a truly unique experience. Perched right on the coast, the ocean view perfectly complement the beauty and serenity of the temple. The sound of the waves adds a calming element to the spiritual atmosphere. While it can get crowded, the stunning location and intricate details of the temple make it a must-visit in Busan. Allow at least an hour or two to explore the grounds and soak in ...

Visit: May 2025 An absolutely beautiful temple. The way it lines the coast provides an extraordinary view and the sounds of the waves are very calming. A great place, even if you aren't religious, but even better if you are (Buddhist). There's a lot of different areas to pray. It does get very crowded there, as it's a tourist attraction, but besides that it was great. Some food stalls as well, b...

What a beautiful temple! I came around 5pm - not crowded at all! You can find direct buses from the Busan bus station, it’s like an 1 hour and a half but it’s honestly worth it! By the sea, beautiful vibes. It’s an active temple so you’ll find monks praying which is amazing! Also lots of souvenir sellers and food stalls outside!

This temple was honestly beautiful. What really made it stand out wasn’t just the structure itself, but everything around it—the nature, the fresh sea air, the peaceful vibe. It felt like one of those places where you can just breathe a little deeper. Yeah, there were quite a few tourists around, but it didn’t feel packed or chaotic. The area’s pretty open, so people kind of spread out naturally. ...
