The views were great. The music was relaxing. The chairs were comfortable and the coffee shop had refreshing drinks. It was a nice place to take a break and just cool down.

A spacious observatory. This is different from the TV tower with its modern look. There was a great view around Sapporo city centre. The summer view was great with greenery on the roadside.

For breathtaking 360-degree views of Sapporo, the JR Tower Observation Deck T38 is an unmissable destination. Perched atop the 38th floor of the JR Tower, this observatory stands 160 meters above ground, offering unparalleled vistas of the city and its surroundings. From here, visitors can gaze upon landmarks such as the Sapporo Dome, Mount Teine, Ishikari Bay, and, on clear days, even the distant...

Bought tickets in Klook for fast transaction and easy access but the counter is very open so it’s also okay not to purchase tickets online. JR tower is not the tallest tower in the world and not even on top 5 but still it’s worth to visit this place. It was very nice to watch the sunset and a lot of photo/video enthusiast were waiting for it. It was winter festival so the view was great, seeing th...

Visibility was low. Don't let that deter you if it's snowing! The city was beautiful! Sat there for 30 mins enjoying the moment. So peaceful! It wasn't crowded on Monday after 7pm [maybe 10 others]. Was able to sit and relax on the ledge and watch the snow fall! Great way to end a long day of travel. 750¥ an adult. Takes credit card and yen.
In winter, watch snow blanket the city and mountains; in spring, spot cherry blossoms in Odori Park; summer brings clear blue skies; autumn highlights red and gold foliage around Maruyama.
