Children from 4–12 enter at a discount, can stamp brochures and spot landmarks, and have child toilets and stroller access, yet the lack of hands-on exhibits means interest may fade after 30 minutes.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for views, a cafe break, and souvenir shopping without rushing young kids.
Panoramic City View:
Walk the 360° deck to see Sapporo landmarks and mountains.
Tip: Give kids a map to spot Mt. Okura, Odori Park, and the bay.
Landmark Spotting Game:
Use the free brochure and stamp station to mark landmarks.
Tip: Turn brochure landmarks into a checklist game for kids.
T’Café Snack Break:
Enjoy Yubari Melon Frozen or sandwiches by the window.
Tip: Order the melon frozen (¥380) to share and grab a window seat quickly.
T’Shop Souvenir Hunt:
Browse kid-friendly keychains, postcards, and paper soap.
Tip: Set a ¥500 limit per child to manage spending.

The views were great. The music was relaxing. The chairs were comfortable and the coffee shop had refreshing drinks. It was a nice place to take a break and just cool down.

A spacious observatory. This is different from the TV tower with its modern look. There was a great view around Sapporo city centre. The summer view was great with greenery on the roadside.

From here, visitors can gaze upon landmarks such as the Sapporo Dome, Mount Teine, Ishikari Bay, and, on clear days, even the distant...

It was very nice to watch the sunset and a lot of photo/video enthusiast were waiting for it. It was winter festival so the view was great, seeing th...

Visibility was low. Don't let that deter you if it's snowing! The city was beautiful! Sat there for 30 mins enjoying the moment. So peaceful! It wasn't crowded on Monday after 7pm [maybe 10 others]. Was able to sit and relax on the ledge and watch the snow fall! Great way to end a long day of travel. 750¥ an adult. Takes credit card and yen.
