Spectacular. I've lived in Hokkaido for a few years. Exploring every direction. There is so much beauty here. The Hokkaidō Prefectural Government Office building or Red brick building has been renovated. The museum offers great insight into the history of Hokkaido. It's was a truly wonderful experience.

It is a beautiful place that the garden portion is opens to public. I think~ The garden itself is beautiful too with large trees, flower beds and couple ponds. I can see people sitting on the bench throughout the park next by the water or under the trees! The tulip is blooming at the time when I visit it. Great place for some nice photos!

I came here in summer 2023 and the government office building was under construction. And the front was covered. This time I got to see the real building which was very beautiful but still inside was under renovation until July 2025. Giving me more reasons to come back to visit. There’s a spot on the left side facing the building. A bridge on the pond which reminded me of Monet’s painting.
