What makes it 81% Baby-Friendly: Paved paths, stroller rental, two nursing rooms, diaper tables, and free hot water ease infant care, yet hilly gardens and the ferry ramp can be tricky when pushing a buggy in crowds.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to stroll through flower fields, use baby facilities, and rest at cafés.
Panoramic Flower Viewing:
Walk wide paved paths surrounded by cherry blossoms, sunflowers, or daffodils.
Tip: Pick the flat route from the entrance to cosmos hill for easy stroller access.
Omohide-dōri Walk:

Tip: Follow signs from the main plaza for a 10-minute loop with gentle turns.
Baby Care Facilities:
Use nursing rooms and diaper-changing tables near the entrance and panorama field.
Tip: Bring small change for the 300 yen stroller rental at reception.
Terrace Café Break:
Rest at cafes with high chairs and ask for hot water for formula.
Tip: Try udon at Kō-chan Udon; they provide warm water on request.
Mini Zoo Visit:
Watch goats and rabbits in the petting area near the playground.
Tip: Buy 100 yen feed at the entrance stall on arrival.

Beautiful garden 🤍 So luckily we left at 17:28 and took the bus to ferry port, otherwise we couldn’t take 18:00 ferry. And the last bus is at 18:30 from island park to ferry port

Beautiful fields of flowers and many great photo opportunities to be had here. Many excellent viewpoints around the park as well, especially overlooking the sea. The ticket price is a bit steep at 1500 yen, but the overall experience makes up for it. There is a regular bus service to and fro from the Nkko Island ferry terminal.

Totally worth visiting! The ferry ride over was about 560 ¥ round trip. The bus ride was also about 560 ¥ round trip. Access fee is 1500 ¥. It was so beautiful and the flowers are so kawaii. The view of the ocean was nice. There are rabbits and goats on the island. You can pet the goats and feed the rabbits. They’re also super adorable and cute. 100% recommend you visit. :)

It was a great day at the park! Beautiful views and cute animals :) I would probably recommend going during Spring more, as, despite there being some flowers, the actual flower fields weren’t in bloom. So, a visit during late August may not be 100% be worth the price. Still enjoyed my time there a lot!
In spring, see cherry blossoms (Mar–Apr). Summer brings sunflowers (Jul–Aug). Visit autumn cosmos in October and winter daffodils (Jan–Feb). Weekdays are quieter for stroller walks.
