What makes it 81% Solo-Friendly: The lighthouse viewpoint offers dramatic coastal scenery, free access, and flexible timing, so a solo traveler can linger for photos without group constraints, but must carry water and watch footing.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Enough time to photograph the lighthouse, explore nearby cliffs, and enjoy the sea breeze.
Cliffside Sunset View:
Walk to the highest cliff point to watch the sun dip below the Aegean Sea.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes before sunset to secure a quiet spot and adjust camera settings.
Cliff Path Descent:
Follow the narrow trail down to sea-level rocks under the lighthouse.
Tip: Wear sturdy shoes and watch your step on loose stones.
Rock Formation Exploration:
Survey unique volcanic rocks sculpted by wind and waves.
Tip: Bring a zoom lens or phone for close-up shots of textures.
Sea Breeze Relaxation:
Sit on a rock ledge to feel the wind and listen to waves.
Tip: Pack a light windbreaker in case of gusts.
Visit in shoulder seasons (April-May or September-October) for mild temperatures and fewer crowds. In summer bring extra water and sun protection.

Drive up here to watch the Sunset. We arrived around half hour before the sunset and just about got a parking space. Would recommend going on a day when its not to windy as it was very windy compared to the other parts of the island.

Beautiful views, parking bit iffy on the road leading up to lighthouse. Excellent views, walk to lighthouse was easy enough, maybe 100m. Watched the small catamerans rounding the cape. Had coffee in small kiosk, beautiful views

I do recommend wearing sneakers, or solid hiking shoes to navigate the terrain. Careful and sure footing will be a must to get incredible pho...

Beautiful place on the cliffs edge! We climbed the trails in flip flops but all was well! 🤣 360° views - a must see. Snack bar near the parking lot. Grab a cold drink before you walk to the waters edge!
