What makes it 85% Couple-Friendly: The cliff-top sunset is romantic and free, with swings and picnic spots, but lack of lighting, railings, or nearby toilets requires careful footing and leaving right after dusk.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: This gives time to hike, take photos, enjoy a picnic, and watch the sunset.
Sunset viewing from the lighthouse cliff:
Arrive before sunset to sit on the stone wall or rocks and watch the red sun sink into the Aegean Sea.
Tip: Step carefully on uneven edges; no railings provided.
Swing-over-the-sea photo:
Pose on the wooden swing hanging off the cliff for iconic shots.
Tip: Hold the ropes firmly and avoid leaning too far back.
Cliff-top picnic:
Spread a blanket on flat ledges and enjoy snacks with sea views.
Tip: Pack light foods and carry water; leave no trash behind.
Rock cave photography:
Explore the small natural cave behind the lighthouse that frames the sea through its opening.
Tip: Use a wide-angle lens and caution on slippery rocks.

Drive up here to watch the Sunset. We arrived around half hour before the sunset and just about got a parking space. Would recommend going on a day when its not to windy as it was very windy compared to the other parts of the island.

Beautiful views, parking bit iffy on the road leading up to lighthouse. Excellent views, walk to lighthouse was easy enough, maybe 100m. Watched the small catamerans rounding the cape. Had coffee in small kiosk, beautiful views

The short hike down to the flat area allows for breathtaking shots if someone can stay higher up and take photos of you. There is an eatery in the parking area for food and drinks (including alcohol). Nice stop away from all the tourists, and if you ...

We were pleasantly surprised to find beautiful, picturesque photo opportunities among various rock formations down behind the lighthouse. I do recommend wearing sneakers, or solid hiking shoes to navigate the terrain. Careful and sure footing will be a must to get incredible pho...

Beautiful place on the cliffs edge! We climbed the trails in flip flops but all was well! 🤣 360° views - a must see. Snack bar near the parking lot. Grab a cold drink before you walk to the waters edge!
Visit in spring (April–June) or fall (September–October) to avoid summer heat and busy crowds. In winter, days are shorter and windier—dress in layers.
