A couple can stroll hand-in-hand among the towering columns, find scenic photo spots, and combine the short visit with a sunset view of the Acropolis nearby.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Couples can explore the columns, enjoy mythology tales, and capture photos without feeling rushed.
Dawn column walk:
Stroll among the 15 surviving Corinthian columns at opening time.
Tip: Arrive at 08:00 to avoid heat and crowds. Bring water and sunscreen.
Audio myth tour:
Listen to legends of Zeus as you circle the temple.
Tip: Download the official audio guide app before you go. Share one device to split cost.
Couple photo shoot:
Use the marble pillars as a dramatic backdrop for portraits.

Tip: After closing, walk east along Vasilissis Olgas Avenue. No ticket needed.
Summer days can exceed 35 °C by midday—visit before 11:00 or late afternoon with a hat and light layers. Spring and autumn bring milder weather and blooming gardens nearby.

The columns are impressive but was mostly covered in scaffolding and there is not much else to see. The problem is the price 20 euros per adult seems excessive compared to the other sites. This can be done in 15 minutes and is priced to the same as much more expensive sites.

Ruins of the temple are interesting, but the main attraction is the view at sunset. Little difficult to reach the top with rough uneven ground. 20 Euros a head to enter. Don't expect to be alone. Many tour busses.

These columns aren’t just big — they were meant to connect heaven and earth… a must see after acropolis and agora, but be careful not to go when it’s too hot because it’s mostly open space.

Not worth 20 euros. The museum isn't even operational. There's very little information. It's easily seen from outside of it. I would highly recommend against paying 20 euros to walk in there. Maybe if it was 5 Euros it would be worth it. Maybe.

Early early. Crowds were good. Museum is currently closed and under reconstruction. You do not need a guide. Follow the leader and read all the signs. It is not handicap accessible as the elevators were closed due to maintenance and have been.
