Very good organized port with plenty of different methods to reach the city center, including the hop on hop off busses if you are visiting only for a day during a Mediterranean cruise.

A very nice harbour and a great walk all the way around. Always in the sun and a great choice of places to stop for food and refreshments.

A massive seaport where local ferries and cruise ships dock. Taxis are only permitted to be in a designated area. Place is clean and efficient.
In summer start before 10:00 for cooler temperatures and café tables by the sea. In winter bring layers and check museum hours—they often close earlier.
