What makes it 60% Baby-Friendly: Flat promenades suit strollers and two ferry terminals offer changing tables, yet noisy horns, scarce nursing rooms in cruise areas, and exhaust fumes can stress infants.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Flat promenades and a short boat tour fit a baby’s routine without rush.
Marina Zeas Promenade:
Flat, wide seafront walkway lined with benches, shade, and ice-cream shops.
Tip: Go mid-morning when it is less crowded and the path is cooler for strollers.
Piraiki Waterfront Walk:
Palm-lined coastal path from Piraiki to Zea with smooth surfaces.
Tip: Bring a sun hat and take breaks at cafes near the water.
Electric Railways Museum:
Small museum with tram and railway artifacts in an easy-to-cover space.
Tip: Check stroller access ahead; entry is free and visit takes 20–30 minutes.
Harbour Boat Tour:
45-minute harbour cruise with narration; under-4s ride free.
Tip: Book in advance for morning slots to avoid afternoon heat.

Very good organized port with plenty of different methods to reach the city center, including the hop on hop off busses if you are visiting only for a day during a Mediterranean cruise.

A very nice harbour and a great walk all the way around. Always in the sun and a great choice of places to stop for food and refreshments.

A massive seaport where local ferries and cruise ships dock. Taxis are only permitted to be in a designated area. Place is clean and efficient.
Summer days can be hot and busy. Visit early or late to avoid sun. In winter, wind can be strong; dress in layers.
