I absolutely love the walk, as exhausting as I got climbing, it's so worth it. The view is spectacular and you can stop along the way. I came to also see what birds I could find and was so pleased with the birds of pray I saw! I've done the walk a few times and most recently saw so many cats!

I would say Lycabettus Hill is the best viewing area in Athens, if you want to have the whole Athens in once. Highly recommend for sunset, but be early especially on the weekend because it fills up quit fast. You cannot miss this place 🌅 and the hike up is pretty short and easy, it’s the best way to go up and down!
In spring and autumn, go in the morning for cooler air and wildflowers along the trail. In summer, enjoy open-air concerts in the evenings but bring insect repellent. In winter, pack a windproof jacket for chilly summit breezes.
