Taronga Zoo is absolutely beautiful! The animals are clearly well taken care of, with spacious, natural habitats that make you feel like you're seeing them in the wild. The whole zoo is set in a stunning location with amazing views of Sydney Harbour, adding to the experience. It's a big zoo with a wide variety of animals from all over the world. If you’re ever in Sydney, whether it being your first time in Australia, do check this place out! The zoo is pretty big so you’ll probably spend a good amount of time here. The place is well maintained by the keepers and the animals are very well taken care of. Better yet, all the proceeds and money you’ll spend at the zoo whether it being the store or cafe, it all goes to the animals to help them...

If I could talk to the animals, just imagine chatting with a chimp, tiger or giraffe. And I am sure they would say they are happy at Taronga. Fantastic exhibits that respect the animals, with enough space and keepers that care. An amazing family experience, we spent the entire 7 hours at the zoo and the kids wanted more!! There are a variety of animal encounters, so recommend you book them online ...

Overall this is a clean and nice zoo. Well maintained. I found the tickets are cheaper online so booking online is better. Parking: first 90minutes free then for whole day is charged and was $24. There is a food court with few options and is always busy. Water fountains, lifts, escalators, nice walkways...

The Seal show is nice to sit and watch. Also the Bird show is great to attend. I had a great time and got an annual pass as I intend to visit more often. The tiger is very nice to see walking past you and only a glass wall ...
In summer bring a hat, sunscreen, and refillable water bottle. In winter visit around midday when animals are more active on sunny perches and indoor shows offer a warm break.
