If I could talk to the animals, just imagine chatting with a chimp, tiger or giraffe. And I am sure they would say they are happy at Taronga. Overall this is a clean and nice zoo. Well maintained. I found the tickets are cheaper online so booking online is better. Parking: first 90minutes free then for whole day is charged and was $24. There is a food court with few options and is always busy. Water fountains, lifts, escalators, nice walkways...
