Great place to sit, have a BBQ, and watch the world go by. Great views of the ocean and across the ocean, Parkyn Parade Wharf and trawler boats. Good car par, running water, tree's for shade.

A lovely spot to spend some time with large grassy area and scenery. Boats at moorings, the mouth of the Maroochy, a short walk to the cliff top and lighthouse and views down to the surf beach.

Parks for the people. Well done, Sunshine Coast Council and (staff). This slice of the Sunshine Coast is so special. With the perfect backdrop being the marina and gateway to it, La Balsa Park offers a truly unique park experience. A variety of aquatic craft, coming and going, made our walk a little slower, stopping often to take in the views. Parking ✔️ Pathways ✔️ Playgrounds ✔️ Toilets ✔️ BBQ's...

Very nice open plan park, clean and dog friendly with clean amenities. Outdoor showers available, for washing off all that beautiful salt water you can access for an amazing swim. BBQ areas are also kept clean and are well maintained. Parking is ample, but can get busy as this place is exceptional to visit.
In summer, visit early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat and sunburn. In winter, the park stays mild but carry a light blanket for your baby.
