What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Smooth pram paths, shade shelters and grassy spots suit a stroller outing, yet no confirmed baby-change table or nursing room means carers must bring a portable mat or detour to a nearby café.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a pram walk, picnic breaks, lookout visit and baby rest.
Stroller-friendly coastal walk:
Follow the paved 1 km headland path between Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba.
Tip: Use the stroller sunshade and return at 30 minutes for a shorter loop.
Shaded picnic and BBQ:
Use the covered shelters with free gas barbecues for feeding breaks.
Tip: Arrive early to secure a sheltered table and bring all cooking gear.
Grass play and rest area:
Spread a blanket on the open lawn near the toilet block for tummy time or naps.
Tip: Bring a soft mat and choose a spot under the rotunda for extra shade.
Bluff Lookout ocean views:
Climb to the lookout for panoramic coastal vistas.
Tip: Visit at off-peak times and hold your baby securely at viewing platforms.

Great place for a break. Some of the best views on the Coast. Parking and Toilets. Seating and shelter. Can access the beach via stairs.

A pleasant park with great views! Worth seeing on the way to the beach.

Great place for families and children. There is a childrens playground and BBQ area's all right on the beachfront of Mooloolaba. You can also walk the pathway up to Alexanda headland and enjoy the views or walk onto the beach and look at the rockpools.

Pretty hard to beat, sitting in the carpark with a burger and a capucino, blue sky, blue sea, whale-watchers in the distance, yachties flapping in the breeze, lots of girls walking, kids riding scooters and bikes and Segways and folks generally looking damned fine. Once they finish the works-in-progress around the pathways and gardens, this place is gonna be hard to beat!! Good luck getting a carp...

Beautiful spot to enjoy the stunning views, great footpaths and the sound of the waves crashing over the rocks! This is a beautiful and somewhat quiet spot and such a treasure! I can’t wait to visit again and enjoy the promenade and people watching!
In summer, come early or late afternoon to avoid midday heat. Winter days are mild but bring a light jacket for breezy headland views.
