What makes it 80% Couple-Friendly: Couples can picnic in shaded Garden Square, share a brewery meal, watch world-class tennis or live music at night, but romance may suffer on peak-event days due to heavy crowds.

Positives:

  • Free entry zones: Garden Square and public ovals are open without fees any time
  • World-class venue: Experience the grounds of a Grand Slam tennis tournament

Challenges:

  • Variable event schedule: Tours and activities may change during major events; check dates before visiting
  • Hot summer days: Limited shade makes midday visits uncomfortable without sun protection

Went on a tour through Open House Melbourne. Great to see back of house at Margaret Court Arena and go on the ground at AAMI stadium. Certainly recommend people looking into attending next year's open house weekend. Free to see many places you never see normally.

Once in there are cooling areas with fans and misted water...
