This is a great hike. Very challenging in the warmer months, with plenty of hills. Total elevation gain over the trail is 1500m. Well worth doing.

Hinchinbrook, Gods gift to Aussie nature and fishing nirvana.

Best hike of my life! It was heavy but gorgeous, we did it in 3 days and 2 nights but wished we had longer. So many different sceneries in one hike. Bring light equipment. We took a lift with John from Absolute North Charters. John does his work with passion and was extremely helpful for us. The hike would have not be the same without John or the absolute north app.

Australia's own Jurassic park what a beautiful place to visit
Visit April–September for dryer trails and fewer jellyfish. In warmer months wear a stinger suit and check cyclone warnings. Book Thorsborne permits as soon as they open.
