Lots of dead coral around. There's a few spots as well as the jetty where you will find a lot of fish.

Amazing! The snorkeling 🤿 was beautiful. Not as "Reefey" as I hoped, but still magical! some nice shallow parts by the rocks to the left of nudey beach - Saw some turtles there!

Wonderful break away from mainstream worries. It's not a perfect Tropical Island Retreat but nice and laid back. Needs some tweaking like an ice machine and a wider range of food options. (2 burgers cost us $57) Staff are great. Snorkeling is good over the coral reefs. Only 40 minutes from Cairns. Bush walks are a bit more difficult than rated. Overall, good value stay
Visit May–October for calm seas and clear snorkeling. Avoid November–April when rains and stingers are more common. June–July you may spot turtle nesting activity offshore.
