Pram-friendly esplanade, shaded shelters, nearby change tables and parents’ room ease feeds; phone surf club to confirm facilities. Limited sand shade and strong sun glare lower comfort.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for a relaxed stroll, baby playtime, and a shaded picnic.
Pram-friendly boardwalk stroll:
Push your stroller along the flat path beside the beach.
Tip: Go before 10am or after 3pm to avoid peak sun.
Shaded picnic at Kurrawa Park:
Use covered tables and gas barbecues overlooking the beach.
Tip: Bring simple picnic foods; check gas BBQs are working on arrival.
Gentle sand-play at water’s edge:
Let baby pat small waves on the soft sand.
Tip: Set up just behind the red and yellow flags for safety.
Use Oasis Parents’ Room:
Feed and change baby in private cubicles across the road.
Tip: Open 9am–5:30pm; pack a nursing cover for extra privacy.

A very quiet beach I enjoy a daily walk here to collect little seashells.

I love this spot. I had to share some drone shots.

Nice clean beach. Got big buildings behind for a view. Approachable with public transport. Parking available as well. Can park for free in the surf club parking as well. Not crowded like Surfers Paradise. Got lifeguards. Waves can be big though. Sunrise looks amazing here.

Gorgeous beach away from the crowds but still with the awesome contrast of sea and big sky rise buildings behind. The beach is clean and quiet with lifeguards. There is parking right by the beach - which is free - and plenty of taps to clean your feet or thongs. Really can't go wrong here! Just be prepared for the big old waves that'll knock you right out.

Kurrawa Beach in Broadbeach may not be the safest place for a swim but it’s my happy place in this world. 💙 Beautiful sunsets, seagulls everywhere, nice reflections on the wet sands, wild waves… I love this place.
