Gentle pram-friendly fire trails, toilets and café seating make a short visit possible, yet no listed nursing room or change table and uneven paths beyond pavilion lower comfort for carers with infants.

Positives:

  • Baby-friendly paths: Wide, smooth trails near the Pavilion are suitable for prams and carriers.
  • Complimentary facilities: Free BBQs, playgrounds and water stations keep costs low for family outings.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated nursing room: Public toilets do not include a baby-change table; use café seating for private feeding.
  • Wind exposure: Open areas can be windy; the baby may need extra layers on exposed hills.

Great first experience at Stromlo. Everyone was extremely welcoming, both riders on the trails and staff at the facilities. The trails are better marked than a lot of parks and the addition of suggested loops (1-6) with corresponding numbers at the trail head made it super easy to get around without getting lost. With a bit of rain the trails get super grippy as it's dirt/mud rather than clay, wh...

Went on a Tuesday morning so nice and quiet. Great on-site facilities. Trails, skill parks and paths for all skill levels. Broke a thumb here in two places two years ago but it didn't stop me coming back. Camped nearby at Cotter campground which I highly recommend

Amazing MTB (mountain bike) riding tracks! This place has a few runs ranked from beginner to advanced level with huge jumps. Ideally, 5 of you take a vehicle up with 4 MTB. Then 4 of you ride down the mountain. Fun + excitement + huge reward to improve your skills & bravery. Thank you Canberra!
