Excellent small museum/gallery showcasing mainly collections relating to Canberra. We saw the Enrico Taglietti exhibition in July. Fascinating insight into part of Canberra’s architectural history.

Loved the Canberra/kamberri people and places exhibit. The timeline layout was engaging and the story was quite funny at times.

Like almost every place I've visited in Canberra, this place didn't disappoint. And like every other place, totally wheelchair friendly. Had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and it was small so made it quicker to get around as opposed to the national galleries. Enjoyed the diverse range of art. From the Nolan collection (more of this at the National Gallery if you like it), to jewelry, and unique glass sculptures and modern works from Lindy Lee.
Check CMAG’s events calendar before your visit. Summer evenings often feature outdoor art talks. In winter, galleries stay warm and bright—ideal for a cozy outing.
