Great insight into Australia's premier sporting organisation. We did a tour with the AIS, Tim our tour guide who also is a Volleyball player was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an incredible tour. We would recommend the tour experience and of course Go Aussies.

We travelled from Interstate for the Ice Hockey Spectacular at the AIS Friday night 1st Aug and Saturday night 2nd August. The venue is ok but parking is more of a hassle than it needs to be. Let people park if they have tickets to the event that night and ensure police drop by during the event to ensure notices are issued if need be.

Great venue. The venue is a bit outdated due to it's age. The arena is currently closed for events due to upgrades and is expected to open next year. There is parking on site and reserved parking for accessible. There are accessible toilets in the venue. There is a cafe which you can grab quick snacks from.

When is the best time to visit AIS Arena (Canberra, Australia)?

In winter, bundle your baby for the walk from the car park to the heated arena. In summer, keep baby shaded outside until you enter the cool indoor concourse.
