Positives:

  • Free baby entry: Children under 3 enter free so you only pay for the two adults.
  • Pram-friendly paths: Wide, level walkways make it easy to push a stroller.
  • Baby-change facilities: All toilets have change tables and there is a dedicated parents’ room with breast-feeding area.

Challenges:

  • Open enclosures: Some animals are in open areas—keep baby securely in the pram to avoid sudden movements.
  • Loud shows: Animal shows can be noisy; bring ear protection for your baby or sit at the rear.
  • Heat exposure: Few shaded spots in outdoor exhibits—schedule cooling breaks and water for the baby.

This is a really cute little wildlife sanctuary only a few minutes from Brisbane. As it's name suggests, there are koalas here, along with dingoes, Australian reptiles and amphibians, flying foxes, parrots, and platypuses to name a few. You can feed and pet kangaroos and wallabies as well. There are photo opportunities with koalas, dingoes, tree kangaroo, and birds of prey. It takes a couple hours...

An amazing sanctuary featuring all the expected wildlife of Australia: koalas, kangaroo, emu, wombat, dingos, Tasmanian devil, fruit bats, various birds, and a platypus. Petted a kangaroo. It's a beautiful park and definitely a must see.

A very nice and well kept animal park. There are different areas and different shows for visitors to enjoy. Although we did not go to see any shows we enjoyed just roaming around, looking for the animals and briefly catching a baby Koala looking out its mother’s pouch. Getting up close with the Kangaroos was another highlight. If you don’t plan on seeing any shows 2-3 hours is more than enough for...

Been here a couple of times in my early days and remembering it was much more happening and fun then (OK that was like 20 years ago). Always a joy to be amongst the free roaming kangaroos and feeding them except when stepping on all the poop around the area. Seeing all the koalas get high was also comical. Sheepdog as always amazing and intelligent and wished I can bring one home. Gift shop kinda ...

Amazing place to visit, allow 3+ hours. So great to see so many koalas and native Australian animals including wombats, Tasmanian devils, native birds, reptiles etc. The free range kangaroos, wallabies and emus section is excellent too. We loved the dingos and barn section/sheepdog demo and the talks were really informative and well pitched. Lots of water points and places to get food which was we...
