This place is quite nostalgic for me. First concert i ever went to was at this place nearly 30 years ago.... Spiderbait ... I had the worst ingrown toenails back then, but still had an amazing night, never to be forgotten. Glad to see the place still fully alive and pumping :) The nice fresh outside has given it a nice lift!

The lounge seats were perfect for the wiggles with my daughter!! So much space and so comfy! And a perfect view

First visit to Thebarton Theatre in many years on Sat 8 Nov to see the always terrific Bob Downe 👍😁🌟. Great show but the experience was completely ruined by the cheap, HIGHLY uncomfortable small plastic fold out seating. We were seated in the front "stalls" area. 8 Mill upgrade but some things left untouched, including the tatty carpet in the lounge section. Nice new toilets though! Always a great venue with good viewing of on-stage performances.

The refurbishment inside foyer, main theatre and toilets are well worth the money spent. Seating was generous and the new interior felt more spacious. Thank you to those who advocated and lobbied for funding to make the restoration of this iconic musical theatre in Adelaide possible.
During Adelaide Fringe (Feb–Mar), book shows early to avoid sell-outs. In summer, enjoy the outdoor bar before dusk. In winter, dress in layers to stay warm in the foyer.
