Grand Hyatt San Francisco Union Square (solo trip)

Front desk service must be improved by a lot. Staff seems off and not so respectful. Bell room staff was okay. Location is super convenient The moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner are Balmain and top class. Gym is a joke , it's not organized and cluttered up

If you’re considering this hotel, I strongly suggest walking a few blocks to the Hyatt Regency on Market Street. You’ll pay about the same but receive a far better room and vastly superior service. Super Convenient location, just a 3-minute walk to Union Square and the tour bus access point. The room is fancy and modern, except the shower set feels more like a motel-level. There is no on-site garage, so I used the Union Square parking garage, which charged $46 per day.

I enjoyed my stay here. I came to SF for baseball game. I walked to the game (“it’s downhill”) and took the bus back ($3). I didn’t do much except sleep and read and bathe in the hotel. Stayed at the hotel beginning of June 2025 for a business/ leisure trip for 4 nights. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, super clean and environmentally friendly. I had an issue with the safe and it was resolved within minutes. Black out blinds operated from the head of the bed are a huge bonus.
