How Baby-Friendly is Prospect Point Observation Point?

71%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 71% Baby-Friendly: Stroller-friendly elevator and nearby restrooms help, but no confirmed nursing room, strong spray, no stroller rental and uncertain changing tables mean parents should call ahead and plan breaks.

(from 383 reviews)

Positives:

  • Stroller access: Elevator and wide pathways let you move easily with a stroller.
  • Infant-free entry: Your baby rides free on the elevator and boat tour.

Challenges:

  • Peak crowding: Midday crowds can slow down elevator lines and deck space.
  • Weather exposure: The deck is open-air—wind, mist or ice can be uncomfortable for a baby.

Spectacular! I absolutely loved Niagara Falls — without a doubt, it's a memorable experience that I would love to repeat someday. I highly recommend the excursion beneath the falls; the view is absolutely beautiful.

After visiting the waterfalls on the Canadian side, we drove into the United States and came to Niagara Falls State Park in New York State. We couldn't see the entire waterfall on this side, but we could see the river and the Canadian scenery. Although there are beautiful parks and visitor centers on the American side, the shops outside are a bit deserted and crowded.

This whole area is stunning! But we visited on 4th of July week and sat 2.5 hours in this same spot so we could get front row of the fireworks. I am so glad we did because when they were over, we looked behind us and couldn't see anything but heads behind us all the way through the park, I've seen less people at a concert lol.
