What makes it 67% Kids-Friendly: Kids can run on wide lawns, try beginner fishing, or ride bikes safely on flat trails, but they lose points because no playground, lifeguard, or indoor shelter exists if weather turns.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Family can picnic, play games, and try kayaking without rushing.

Beautiful place to watch sunset or practice photography.

Nice place. Nothing for the kids except for the grass to run around. Kinda sketchy people around and bathroom was closed. All around decent place but bathrooms were closed and could use some cleaning.

Loved the park by the River. Peaceful sitting in the warm sun, watching the ice go by.

Very nice place right on the Niagara River. The last public land was set aside so the public would always have access to the river. Good view in both directions. The river is over a half mile wide at this point. You can rent bikes that you can take up-and-down the river. There is a green path all the way down to Niagara Falls state park.

We stopped here on our way out of Niagara Falls, looking for a clean, quieter place to have some lunch. We got the quiet, just not so much of the clean. Although the view from this point on the river is beautiful.
Summer is ideal for kayaking. Spring and fall offer cooler air—bring layers. Winter paths can be icy; water activities close.
