What makes it 57% Baby-Friendly: A baby can ride a stroller on short paved areas or nap in a rented shelter, but wood-chip trails, uncertain changing tables, no nursing rooms and no stroller rental limit overall ease.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to explore the nature center, stroll the paved path, and rest in a shelter without overstretching baby’s routine.
Explore the Nature Center:
Indoor exhibits on local plants and wildlife in the Warming House.
Tip: Use the flat floor space to park your stroller or feed your baby quietly inside.
Stroll the Paved Path:
Short paved segment near the parking lot is stroller-friendly.
Tip: Start here to get the baby settled before trying unpaved trails.
Picnic at Shaded Tables or Shelter:
Use free picnic tables near the warming hut or reserve a small shelter.
Tip: Reserve a small non-electric shelter ($50) online for privacy and shade.
Short Wood-Chip Trail Walk:
Level trails are 1.2-mile round-trip to a lake-view picnic table.
Tip: Use a baby carrier for best comfort on uneven wood chips.

Nice trails, good parking, beautiful scenery. I grew up coming here: sledding, tobogganing, ice skating and fishing. It was nice to come back!

This place is very confusing and not easy to navigate. The trail entrance is not clear and the area is very small. There is only a big lake near the main road (included in the photos and videos). There's also a shooting range nearby. The playground is under construction. In general, I didn't enjoy this place as I couldn't explore anything!

Bonds Lake offers a serene environment with excellent fishing opportunities. The lakeside trail is well-suited for families with strollers and leashed pets. Situated in Niagara County, this location provides a tranquil escape; however, please note that the park closes at dusk.

Dude, it's like a million degrees and you're melting on the couch, wishing for a breeze? Lucky for you, Bonds Lake is the place to be! They've got shade everywhere, plus Frisbee golf, pavilions, and tons of parking...and a lake! Get out there and enjoy some nature!

Very clean and quiet park with some good fishing. Enjoyed the entire day just relaxing in the peace and quiet!
In spring and after rain, pack boots for muddy wood-chip trails. Summer offers shaded picnic spots but bring sun protection. Fall brings cool air—layer up and watch for leaves. In winter, use the Warming House for warmth and stick to cleared paths.
