AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre (couple trip)

Service let this place down so much. I asked about parking and the person at the front desk looked at me so confused when I asked is the parking behind the hotel the main one people use? Instead of answering, he stared blankly at me and after trying to ask the question twice he then answered I can suggest a more secure parking which was not my question. Room was decent enough, although very “hotely”. Toiletries were basic; they do provide amenities though, such as toothbrush and razor, although only for one person. Coffee machine was dirty, so didn’t bother using it. There are better hotels nearby for the same rate or cheaper. Staff, however, were friendly and attentive.

Stayed here for one night while in town for the Oasis concert. Overall was satisfied, and loved the little touch with the lyrics on the bed! Check in was easy (I messaged before to check if the room was ready early and they responded promptly). The room was expected, however it didn’t seem properly cleaned. Not nice the surrounding area atall. Does not feel safe. Bed was rock hard. Breakfast was nice staff were brilliant and accommodating. Mini fridge was a good addition. The staff were very friendly, allowed us to check in early. The rooms were very clean and the AC worked well to keep us cool. The bar was well presented and modern, the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to stay here again.
