Visited for a concert (twice, on separate years) and this review is based upon just that experience. The signposting isn't brilliant - especially upon exit (after the concerts) - with poor lane availablity - there were lots of bottlenecks for people trying to get out on the southern side of the park. Other than that, it is a good venue, with a nice wide area for the stage. The layout has changed e...

There is a Car park close by with disability spaces available .The farm area was filled with animals needs a bit of care towards areas like walk areas aren’t made muddy especially on a very hot day, animals need accessible water on such hot days which I did not see around. There is no wash basin after petting the animals so people tend to go to the toilets...

A large urban park with an historic old hall, small farm and an amazing, hidden Horticultural Centre with a wide variety of unusual plants and Koi carp.

Beautiful park with lots of activities. On the park there is a playground, garden with plants and fish, tennis court, football pitch, bicycle tracks and many more. Parking is free. You can find an ice cream van everyday and there is a small cafe where you can buy a snack or a coffee. There are plenty of activities for the whole family, so come along and enjoy the day!!!

The community farm and horticultural centre add extra interest, especially for younger visitors. There’s also a goo...
Spring brings lambs at the farm and blooming wildflowers. Visit glasshouses in winter for tropical plants any day.
