As an experience the trip was not particularly exciting. The whole trip one way took less than 10 minutes. I would recommend buying tickets in advance. As this enables you to use the fast pass line which is much quicker than queuing up to purchase tickets at the entrance to the cable car loading area. If you’re at the o2 arena, you can walk down via Google Maps, it’s a 10 min walk. I got the round trip ticket + a single Uber boat ride which again is super close.
