Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (couple trip)

I went to submit my passport at the Centre this morning. Solomon, who was manning the reception, was very friendly and most helpful. There were lots of counters opened. Staff were friendly and polite. It took just 15 minutes and I was done! Most impressive. Superb efficient service. Thank you to all the staff at the Centre.

Since the online application system has been implemented, i.e., forms and materials submitted online and only requiring passport submission at the centre, it becomes very efficient and less crowded in the application centre. We only spent a maximum of 30 min in the centre for submitting the passport. There were more seats than people. Staff were super friendly. Considering it used to require hours...

When you first arrive, you need to queue at the front desk for a quick documents check and ticket number for the proper application. I arrived just before 1pm and I wasn't out until 3:30! The place was full when I arrived and I had 70 people in front of me in the queue so it took over two hours before I was finally served. I counted only 5 of 25 counters serving the queue.
