The Museum of Edinburgh may be old, but it’s absolutely worth a visit. Tucked away on the Royal Mile, it has a charming, historic feel and is full of interesting artifacts that tell the story of the city. There’s a lot to see, from everyday objects to important historical pieces, but the highlight for me was definitely the silver collection. One of the staff members was kind enough to explain how...

Even free admission couldn’t make me give that place more than 2 stars. 🙄 The place itself is very boring after the National Museum but that’s not its biggest sin. What is? A centuries old urine stench throughout all the floors 🤮🤮🤮 We’ll probably it creates a medieval atmosphere but I didn’t enjoy it at all 😬🤦‍♀️

It's good to stop by before you go to Holyrood Palace. As an Edinburgh museum, there were many things that illustrated Edinburgh's history. I didn't know when I entered, but the museum was surprisingly large, so there were many things to see. If you like to see various collections, I recommend it.

The museum features permanent collections as well as special exhibitions. We were able to see the featured “Four Seasons of Faith” showcase when we visited. The museum is smaller...

Beautiful place to go. The collection are all well picked. And it is not huge that you can travel in a comparatively short time but got great impressions from all the shown items there.
