What makes it 78% Couple-Friendly: A pair can share a saddle on scenic jungle-to-sea treks, grab sunset photos and use the free shuttle, yet sparse facilities and ongoing animal-welfare debate prevent a higher romance score.
Why 1-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: This time allows for a 60-minute elephant ride and a short jungle walk at a relaxed pace.
Elephant Trekking (60 min):
Ride a professionally trained elephant up Kalim Hill for panoramic sea and jungle views.
Tip: Reserve a morning slot to catch clear views and cooler temperatures.
Elephant Trekking (45 min):
Enjoy a shorter ride with the same scenic overlook of Patong and Tri-Trang beaches.
Tip: Opt for this if you have limited time or budget.
Jungle Walking (3 hours):
Explore the hill’s tropical rainforest on foot with a local guide.
Tip: Wear sturdy shoes and bring water for the uneven trails.
Dusk Elephant Ride:
Experience a sunset trek when the light softens and wildlife is more active.
Tip: Ask the camp to schedule a late afternoon ride for a different atmosphere.

Avoid this place because of angry manager with poor service and false advertising. We booked six elephants in advance for 11 person, and manager wanted to give us five elphants. Which means three person per elephant (this may constitute abuse on the elephant). We show the manager our booking and she ignored us. We waited for half hour at the place and accepted only five elephants under her pressur...

Riding the elephant was a unique and refreshing experience. However, in the latter part of the tour, the staff deliberately stopped moving and pressured us to purchase poorly made accessories for over 300-400 baht. This was extremely unpleasant and felt like coercion. I strongly believe this practice should be addressed and stopped.

DO NOT GO HERE ! Why is this still even supported ?? Absolutely outrageous. Can’t believe they are being ridden. Those who have done it should be ashamed. Plenty of ethical elephant sanctuaries around the island that let you feed them and watch them from a distance, as they should be! These animals are NOT meant to be ridden and forced to do stuff they don’t want to do. It’s so inhumane. Look up t...

The elephants are swaying, which is very bad, and they are screaming for help. Why isn't anyone doing anything about it? It's a shame for such beautiful animals.

What amazing creatures! We were able to feed them sugarcane and they are so gentle. The ride is only around 20 minutes. They were not treated poorly at all. It's not any different than going to a ranch to ride horses.
Visit between November and April for dry trails and clear views. Avoid May–October when heavy rains can muddy paths.
