Kids can watch buskers, try sweets and shop for small toys, yet opening hours are late, aisles are crowded, there is no playground, and only standard toilets, so close supervision is essential.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2–3 hour visit lets a family sample food, catch performances and shop without tiring the kids.
Buy kid-friendly snacks:
Choose milder treats like fruit smoothies, ice cream or sweet pancakes.
Tip: Visit early to avoid queues and keep snacks as a quick energy boost.
Watch live street performances:
Enjoy musicians, dancers or comedy acts from about 18:00.
Tip: Arrive by 18:00 to secure a front spot for clear views.
Play festival games and face-painting:
During Songkran and Loy Krathong, find booths offering face painting and ring toss.
Tip: Carry small coins (THB 50–150) and set a game limit to control spending.
Shop for colorful souvenirs:
Browse stalls selling elephant-print pants, bright T-shirts and small toys.
Tip: Agree on a budget with kids and look for stalls with bundle deals.

Hello, friends, I'm a Korean who came to Thailand to play. When I go late in the evening, the stores are closed, so I have to go early. Even though I went late, they were selling juice, food, clothes, and other interesting things. It's worth visiting at least once. If you want to see my trip, come to Instagram. 📷:iiiminwooiii

A lot quieter than expected for a Saturday night even though it is end of season. Found a nice pool hall to escape the heat for an hour which was nice. Street food was OK.

We took a tuk tuk from Jodd Fairs thinking it will be better here but really surprised once we stepped in. Disappointed is understatement with only few shops open, and it's practically same as Jodd Fairs. Only one restaurant open and the food was also very disappointing compared to more selection at Jodd Fairs. The fish was very saltish. Really a waste of our time here 😭

It doesnt offer much. Good, still recommend but th...

However, we found a restaurant near the public area that serves an excellent Pad Thai. Although it only has a few reviews, don’t let that deter you—I was hesitant too, but after trying it, I can confidently say it deserves five stars! We also visited a restaurant that mentioned having...
