How Baby-Friendly is Starfield Library?

72%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 72% Baby-Friendly: Nursing room, diaper station and free stroller rental aid babies, though the open atrium gets crowded, noisy and tight for prams, so visits should stay brief and timed outside peak hours.

Positives:

  • Free entry: No admission fee allows flexible breaks.
  • Baby-friendly facilities: Nursing room and changing station make feeding easy.

Challenges:

  • Weekend crowds: Aisles and seating fill up on weekends, slowing stroller movement.
  • Book hall brightness: Large windows can create glare—bring sunglasses or choose shaded seating.

it’s an interesting place to visit in Korea. coming off from the subway, it may not be that easy to navigate and find this place. once you get here, you will see the crowds. people are taking pictures everywhere. the coffee shop connecting to the library is a plus!

There are a lot of reviews for this location. I’ll only add that each corner and path offers a different photo perspective. I liked shooting photos from the chocolate store where I could see most of the library. On the main floor there are lots of influencers doing their thing.

One of the most popular tourist spot in Seoul and rightfully so because of how aesthetically pleasing the library was designed. I've been here several times and they decorate the place depending on the season. This visit in mid-spring however, did not have any exhibit or massive installation art in the middle. It's also refreshing to see the actual design without decors. There's not a lot of tou...

“ 별마당 도서관 “ Star field coex mall. Wow, this is such a beautiful and wonderful place. It's a perfect place to sit and read a book and think all afternoon with a delicious coffee. We who live in New York, whenever we visit Korea, we are proud of the kindness and loveliness of the Korean people, who support Korea's advanced infrastructure and public goods. We really admire our culture that we can p...

It’s located right in the middle of a bustling mall, yet it feels calm and inspiring — a perfect place to pause, browse books, or just take in the atmosphere. A must-visit spot in Seoul, even if you’re not a ...
